My exams are nearing date, will be starting on 5th of March 2009. I am feeling intensely tensed and wondering how will I perform.
Other than that, I have enjoyed Acheringa ’09 as Sonu Niigam gave a rocking live concert. I will post the videos after my exams.
Also, I have faced a lot of problems. A virus damaged my Windows OS on my computer and am currently fixing it. Right now, I am posting from my dad’s computer.
Also, the Nandi Family main website is undergoing upgrades and I hope to get it done as soon as my exams end.
I have also installed PuppyLinux on my computer which I shall be using until Windows is fixed. After that I will be installing it in a separate partition. This Linux distribution is only 95 MB in size, yet comes with a ton of cool features.
Now I have to leave for studies. Will write later. Cya!
Feeling nice to write again. However nothing is nice that happened during the last two week. First, my exams results were not so good. Second, I could not go to my school excursion. Third, my health was not so good. Fourth, the Nandi Family site was losing rankings so we are migarting at this moment to another Content Management system.
However, I will try to enjoy my life as far as possible. Also, Alcheringa in IITG is also taking place. So, I will enjoy a lot.
My holidays have finally come to an end. Tomorrow my school will start and the whole busy routine will be over me again. The holidays were nice, as I spent it with other people as well. Anyway, time’s up.
See ya all next week as I am busy fixing my things today.
With only a few moments left for this year to end. I am looking back and reflecting how nice and wonderful moments occured in my life. With just a day more for this year, I can feel that New Year is not just an occassion for enjoyment and merry making but also a sad reminder about how time in our lives is passing away, each and every second at a time. We do not live forever. Thinking of this I put this countdown widget, to count each and every second that passes by until the new year.
I have been in Faculty Higher Secondary School for 9 long years. I am now in class IX. The saddest thing I have ever seen in my school life was that our immediate seniors, Class X were leaving their school. It was their last day, and they were writing diaries, hugging and crying for hours… The scene was so touching, that even I could not sleep properly. Most of them were my friends. Now no one knows when our paths will ever meet again. 😥 Well I am happy for one thing, that they have a bright future ahead.
We all had childrens’ day on November 14. I went to school thinking there would be some good programme. When I reached school, I was told that there would be no childrens’ day celebration. I was very sad. However, we had a wonderful poster making competition. Also, simultaneously, we had our music band play really good music. In the afternoon, we had a free lunch. In this way, I spent my day and quite liked it.
Today, on Monday, we saw a wonderful dance competition of the children on classes 4, 5 & 6. There were dances from various parts of India. We all really liked it.
No more today as I have to log off. Before that let me tell you that I and my friends have started a new website called Wiki Flight, which deals with aviation. Please do have a look!
Finally, after a long time, my half yearly exams are over. I will be leaving tomorrow for my hometown in West Bengal to watch Durga Puja and have a good holiday. Happy Puja to all of you!
By the way, it is 11 o’ clock night and have to go to sleep.
Wow friends, the teacher’s day celebration of our school was really COOL! Allow me to tell you all in detail.
We all came to school on 5th September with happy hearts to wish our teachers. Little did we all know something ROCKING would happen that very day. Usual customs of wishing, greeting and distributing cakes to teachers were followed. Later, the principal requested all of us to go to the auditorium. There were usual speeches about Teacher’s Day, about Late Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Then came the real FUN, the were songs, dances, funny skits, etc etc. A girl called Krishnakshi along with her friends shook a leg on the dance numbers “Pappu Can’t Dance” and “Bachna Ae Haseeno”. Later came many traditional dances. Finally, for rest of the day, the school became a DISCO, literally! Rock bands were singing aloud, schoolgirls dancing about and the students rushing upto them. And YEAH here’s the FUN! Yo Yo! 😉
After that we were really tired as we had danced a lot and boarded the buses as if we are gettin’ disconnected from someone we most like. :-S
It was such a nice day. I still hear the bands in my heart.
I will be uploading the pics later.
Anyway, I have my exams next of next week! So please bless me good luck!
Well, my holidays are almost over and school is about to reopen on 4 August 2008. I am feeling very sad as I could not go anywhere on a holiday. I am feeling bored. I hope everything will be ironed out by the time school starts. I have completed all my holiday homeworks and projects. Hopefully, everybody will like them.
